Rosalyn deTranaltes has a lifelong love of learning, a passion for helping people identify and overcome obstacles, and an ability to find calm even in the midst of chaos. She enjoys meeting people where they are, helping them identify their goals, and empowering them to understand and work through any obstacles they may be facing in getting to where they would like to be.
Rosalyn’s Clinical Experience
Rosalyn’s professional counseling experience has included work with children and adolescents with an array of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, ADHD, self-harm, and perfectionism. Rosalyn brings a broad perspective from her experiences as a mother, student, school and community volunteer, and even substitute teacher. She understands the unique challenges facing our youth and young adults today and is passionate about helping them as they navigate their way through this time in their journey.
Rosalyn’s Education
Rosalyn was a stay-at-home mom for many years to her two, now adult, children, and continued her educational pursuits alongside them. In 2013, she obtained her BA in Psychology from University of St. Thomas and, in 2019, a MEd in Counseling from University of Houston. She thoroughly enjoyed her years raising her children and volunteering in their schools and, along the way, developed a love of working with youth and young adults.

On a Personal Note
In her free time, Rosalyn enjoys reading, searching for vintage pieces to restore, and playing with her dogs, Maxwell and Tallulah Mae. She especially enjoys family meals with her husband, her two grown children, and her daughter-in-law.
