Our counselors help teens navigate the ups and downs of school, social and family pressures as they find their identity.
Guess what? The teen years are challenging for both teenagers and their parents. Teens face new pressures during these years and do not always react in the healthiest ways. Parents can often help with many of the challenges such as peer pressure, sibling troubles, and academic challenges. But teens today have added challenges such as social media pressures and debilitating loneliness. One outcome from those pressures and loneliness that we are seeing is that teens have lost the ability to communicate effectively.
